Učka’s sharp rise above the Adriatic creates strong environmental gradients over a short distance. Forest, rocky grassland and exposed limestone support a notable range of habitats.
One of the park’s emblematic plants is Campanula tommasiniana, the Učka bellflower, a stenoendemic species that the park describes as occurring only on the Učka ridge.
Wildlife and sensitive flora should be observed without disturbance. Stay on appropriate paths, do not collect plants, and follow current park rules.
